President, Undercar
John Boyer is president of TERREPOWER’s Undercar Strategic Business Unit (SBU), reporting to COO John Amyot.
As president of Undercar, John leads all aspects of the business, which includes brake calipers, hydraulic steering, and electric steering.
John is a 30+ year veteran of the automotive industry and joined TERREPOWER in 2015 as VP of product management and marketing. In 2020, he was promoted to a newly created position of president of New Ventures. This business focused on new growth opportunities for TERREPOWER, including global expansion and new technologies. John led TERREPOWER’s expansion into Europe and development of EV battery remanufacturing.
Prior to joining TERREPOWER, John spent 10 years with UCI/FRAM, a $2B automotive parts supplier to both OEM and aftermarket customers, in various roles including VP of Sales and Marketing. John also worked 11 years for AutoZone in various roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as director of category management for engine electronics and fuel systems product lines.
John graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology.
John resides in Spanish Fort, Alabama. He is a car enthusiast and enjoys working on cars and attending car events. He also enjoys spending time with his family, DIY home projects, and playing golf.
